Hi, I’m Nickolas Castillo. I am a freshman at McKinley. I don’t have any experience in news writing, so I’m new to all of this. I chose this class as an elective because I’m interested in writing. I usually don’t write in my free time, but last year I liked writing in my language arts class when I was able to talk about what I wanted. I expect having to write a lot in this class and finding interesting stories to write about and I hope it’ll be fun. I’m socially awkward, so I hope interviewing people will help me talk more. Things I like doing in my free time is singing, but only when I’m alone and I listen music. I mainly sing and listen to pop, though.
