Be Careful about Your Time
September 29, 2014
When working for journalism, finishing things on time is always important. If one person’s article is delayed, it will affect the editors’ tasks to arrange materials and make the final issue also postponed.
I once wrote an article about procrastination. Maybe procrastinating is a part of everyone’s nature, but as journalists, we should control our time well. One good way to remind yourselves about upcoming deadlines is to mark things on planners. You can also set an notification alarm on phone.
I sometimes cannot think of good ideas for a new article. This makes my final draft lack of time to be revised thoroughly and time stress often makes me tired and nervous during the whole writing process.
Preparing and doing things ahead of time is always good. You won’t know whether the teachers you need to interview will be free or not. You had better schedule things early.
So be careful about your time. Once you finish things on time, the whole world is bright for you.
