Do you have a goal or dream that you wish to accomplish in your life, but you are not confident due to the immense obstacles?
Principal Ron Okamura loved playing football. His big dream was to be the first Japanese NFL football player. He was requested to play for Pacific University but he declined the request since his body was injured while playing high school football. He regrets backing down. He said that a person should not quit something because of the gaps in between them and their success.
If you give up on something, you can never accomplish it,” Okamura said. “You’re young now and nothing is impossible Go for what you want to do.”
Okamura encourages people to take opportunities because some only come once in a lifetime. He said that opportunities will not wait. Sometime a person must be willing to make a sacrifice to reach their goals.
