Snapchat’s latest update allows users to call or facetime with friends or family on Snapchat. If a user doesn’t know a phone number but the person’s snapchat, the user could call them there.

Freshman Michelle King said she likes the way it can contact your friends in different ways. “It’s cool to have the new update because we can now talk to our friends without using their phone number,” said King.

About 294 million people snap a photo on Snapchat at least once a day. 147 million people snap a photo twice a day, and about 58.8 million people snap a photo at least five times a day. The more snapchat updates, the more users it gets. Snapchat’s new updates have people liking the idea of beginning to call, video chat, and the features. Freshman Kyle Ahuna-lee is one of those 3oo million. Ahuna-lee said, “My favorite thing about Snapchat is that you get to record all the memorable moments.”
