All I see on every blog, instagram, or any social media is “I can’t wait ‘€˜til summer,”€ “2013 summer hurry up.”€ or “All I will do during summer is have FUN and PARTY.” I and many other students have school during the summer. It’€™s not what I expected my 2013 summer to be like. This will be my 2nd time in a row to have summer school. I hate waking up so early and having to be sleepy during school. I hate doing work and studying; my brain needs to rest. Why does school start so early? Why can’€™t it start at 10? I signed up for English 9. It’s a credit I didn’t get when I was a freshman. I should be enjoying my summer, not taking summer school. On the positive side I’€™m getting what I need in order to graduate and to succeed. If I want a good future and go college for a good career, sacrificing my time for school is the way. As most high school students are enjoying their summer not dealing with school, I will be in school studying.
