It is that time of the year, where the Seniors are getting ready for one of their last activities before they graduate. The event this year is their Senior Prom with the theme called “Captured in a Dream.”€

The prom will be this Saturday May 5, 2012 starting at 4:00 P.M. ending at 10:30 P.M. The location for the senior prom this year is at the Hawaii Prince Hotel.

Nicholas Jones (12) said, “€œI am definitely excited for prom. I see it as the climax of senior year, when it’€™s over, there’€™s not much until graduation.”

Jones is looking forward to having a great time with his friends, but he is excited to wear a tuxedo because “Tuxedos are awesome.”

Jones said, “€œI think the biggest difference between guys and girls is the preparation for prom. Girls have to do their hair, apply makeup, find a dress, while guys have to find a tuxedo, shirt, tie, shoes and get a haircut.”

€ All of this sounds quite stressful.

Jones said, “€œI’™m slightly stressing because this is probably one of the busiest weeks of the year.”

€ Jones also said, “One bit of advice I’€™d give to prom-goers is not to stress so much over prom. People make such a big deal over everything, and they forget to have fun.”
