Last year, teachers and underclassmen had big expectations for the seniors at McKinley High School. This year is not any different. Seniors will graduate after four years in high school and will continue embarking life outside of high school. At the assembly, Principal Ron Okamura said that he “will be expecting a lot from them” because they are the role models of the school.

Okamura said that the seniors will graduate at the end of the year and walk on the oval. “The bar will always be the same” and “will never change” for the seniors each year. The speech was a way of telling the seniors early in the school year to have a good start and stay on the track .
