My name is Jade, Class of 2023. I have experience with academic writing, creative story telling, poetry and essays but limited experience regarding news writing! Outside of writing, I am a part of a few extracurriculars such as Hope of Hawaii, Health Occupational Students of America, mock trial, literary magazine and mentoring. My future dream careers are emergency medicine nursing and traveling journalist, both very different but this way I can practice both passions! I would love to continue my education in Hawaii after high school by attending UH Manoa or Hawaii Pacific University. I am excited for this class and to work with the rest of The Pinion team!
