I’m Kelly Cheng. This is my freshman year at McKinley. I was born and raised on Oahu. Some of my favorite hobbies include drawing and painting. I joined Newswriting because you can write an article for the whole school to read, which I think will be cool and rewarding. Another reason is that I want to improve my writing/communication skills. Since my nationality is Chinese, I do have trouble with grammar sometimes so I feel Newswriting will help me with that.
