My name is Rodney Fano and I was born and raised on a tiny island called American Samoa. I am a junior at McKinley High School and this is my first year taking Newswriting. I chose this class because I wanted to know or pay a little more attention to our school’s activities. I don’t really know about our school activities such as sports/ band / and other important events. I chose Newswriting to try and get to know the school a little bit more. I am looking forward to learning about our school’s events and writing about them. I like listening to music and going on my phone when I have free time.  My goals for this class are coming to class on time and to always respect my classmates as well as my teacher.
