Sean Gleason, co-editor of McKinley’s newspaper, here once again to share what I’ve learned. Last time I talked about the importance of pull quotes and captions. Though I haven’t gotten around to actually applying these into The Pinion, there is still a lot of time between now and the deadline to put them into the paper.

I was instructed on the importance of being concise. Though, I’d already known why it’s important, I feel it was good for me to get a reminder. The more concise my articles are, the better for print, because I can then give the article a bigger and better visual representation. I’ll definitely remember to be concise, however I wonder how the news writing one students will take it. I’m wondering if they’ll be able to be nice and concise so that I can give their articles the representation they deserve.
