The 2014 Winter Olympics took place in Sochi, Russia. I watched it on ESPN Ch. 240. I thought that the Winter Olympics would be boring, but I was wrong.

I watched skiing first. It was terrifying to watch. When the racers raced down the hill, they had to turn corners on ice.

Second, I watched the snowboarding. When I watched it, I was so impressed because all the tricks the players were doing were the ones I actually have in my video game. One guy in the Olympics did three backflips and landed on his board. 

The third sport I watched was hockey, USA vs Russia. USA won and the crowd went crazy over that win.

I watched the Olympics because it really inspires me to do that kind of stuff.
