McKinley plays Roosevelt

On Friday August 12, Mckinley JV team lost 40- 0 in a game against Roosevelt. The football game started at around 5:00 p.m. McKinley kicked the ball off to Roosevelt and the Roughriders were pushing the Tigers back and the ball was turned over to the Tigers. Tigers were at the 10 yard line and they got the ball stripped from Roosevelt. Roosevelt offense switched in and scored a touchdown early in the first quarter. Despite this Tigers fans kept cheering the team on.

Roosevelt kicked off to McKinley and they returned the ball about 20 yards and got a down. McKinley was given a yellow flag when they were about to hike the ball. When McKinley kicked the ball off, Roosevelt returned it and ran about 60 yards. The score was Roosevelt 14 and Mckinley 0 second quarter.

In the second half, Tiger players started to get injured and taken out. #9 Quarterback, De Vaughn Pita was injured and taken out of the game. #1 Isieli Rivas for the Tigers JV was also injured and taken out for the rest of the game.
