Althea Cunningham, Shane Kaneshiro, Jerome Linear, Athena Griep, and Perlynn Calep went to the Capitol to support HB1848 during the judiciary committee. The hearing was only for decision making, so they could not talk but wanted to be in the room. After the successful vote, the staff visited Speaker Scott Saikis office. Saiki sponsored HB1848 and asked The Pinion staff what they learned.
