Service Dogs are important

Service dogs play a very important role in the lives of those with disabilities. Service dogs are trained to assist individuals with disabilities. The dogs train for years, having trainers hold them all the time so the dogs can get used to being handled and wearing a vest every day. These dogs train so hard to be able to help those with disabilities like blindness.

There are people who pretend they have a service dog just so their pets can go to places that service dogs are allowed to be. These people order fake service dog equipment, such as vest, tags, and a harness. They would even make up their own disabilities. These people obviously do not realize what service dogs go through to become what they are. Pet dogs are different. They are there for anyone to play with and have a lot of fun with. Service dogs are business dogs, especially when they are wearing a vest. And of course they are well loved as well.

There are videos on the internet where people with no disability hurt service dogs. Individuals with visual impairments cannot see that their service dog is being mistreated. They cannot do anything to protect their guide dog. Guide dogs do anything to protect their owner. They guide them around any obstacle that stands in their way. They protect them in dangerous situations. They would even jump in front of speeding cars to protect their owners.

This is what make service dogs special. They are caring, loving, and big. But their hearts are even bigger. If only all could give the love kindness and respect they deserve.
