Keilana Yandall
Hi! My name is Keilana Yandall, Class of 2029. I grew up in Honolulu with a passion for playing sports and being in the kitchen. I enjoy playing a wide variety of sports, from volleyball to basketball to football. One cool fact about me is that, once, when I was in elementary school, I dyed my hair three colors at once. I used the colors pink, purple and blue.
I didn’t sign up to be in Newswriting. In fact, I didn’t know what to expect when I first came to the class. However, being in Newswriting made me realize the amount of work and time journalists put into their work. I also see myself improving my writing. Whether it’s my punctuation and grammar, this class has helped me in many ways, and I do enjoy being in it. I was able to meet new people who help me every day. This class also helped me work on time management and communication. I do plan on staying in Newswriting, using the knowledge my classmates and Mrs. Reves teaches me to become a better writer and produce articles for The Pinion.
